This story starts with a 'displaced Snape', to a world where Voldemort was defeated long ago, Sirius and Remus, and yes, Lily, are still alive. But the most striking difference in this timeline is Shape and Harry's relationship. A fait accompli--and all Snape can do is try to adjust...or else.

Snape's discomfort and struggle and the dimension's maturer version of Harry are a treat that the reader gets to savor over and over. I loved Lily in this--it's gratifying to see Snape get to resolve their relationship;, the ending sneaks up on you, along with a twist that ties the beginning to the end. An end that definitely rated a sigh of satisfaction and a Yeungling.
