Title: The Ghostwriter
Author: [info]klynie1
Summary: Hiring a ghostwriter for his autobiography reveals secrets Harry would prefer to leave hidden.

Set after the Epilogue, Harry decides to have his memoirs written. There's a lot going on in this story--something for everyone--convoluted 'brave new world' politics, Harry and Ginny's relationship, the ever-present pull from a Deathly Hallow, and the insertion into Harry's life of the man who'll write his story--born a little less than a year after the end of the war, he's the spitting image of a young Severus Snape.

This'll have you on the edge of your chair the entire time--you'll try to figure it out, but I don't think you will, and therin lies the beauty of it. Beautifully written, twists and turns that come out of nowhere, and an ending that will satisfy.

Title: Made-Up Lullyby #43
Author:
[info]fitofpique
Summary: People who say they sleep like a baby don't usually have one.

First off, this is NOT an Mpreg, but a series of events occur that put Snape and Harry together, and the monkey wrench thrown into the works is that there's a baby who needs taken care of. Believe me, as a plot device--baby, where did it come from, how do we take care of it, the two of them forced to look beyond themselves to care for someone who needs them--it works. There are some startlingly clever and humorous moments that'll make you laugh out loud, but the best part is her Snape, whose wit and sarcasm, insecurity and self-absorption are so spot on that it made my Snarry heart squee with joy.

The characterization of the two of them as adults is well done, and although I was skeptical about where this might predictably lead, by the time I got there, it was the only conclusion that made sense. And the ending (you know the sort I mean) was well worth the journey. One of my favorite scenes in the fic occurs at the beginning, when Harry and Snape decide to finally settle things like men--wands and robes to the side--with their fists.
