Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Iiiiiiiiiit's PIMPING TIME!
Yeah, it's that time again! Time for us all to make fools of ourselves in the name of Snarry (no, not the entries, the PIMPING!) tell you how awesome our teams are!

The SNARRY GAMES are about to begin posting on IJ in the next few days. There are two great groups of artists and writers--TEAM SNITCH and Team Cauldron.

As a proud Snitch, I offer this little jingle...sung to the tune of 'When Johnny Comes Marching Home'.

OR as [info]tripperfunster has so helpfully pointed out, 'The Ants Go Marching One By One.' I believe she watches a lot of Sesame Street. Or is it a Canadian thing?

Well the Snitches are flying to win the Gold, hurrah, hurrah!
There'll be buzzing and zipping and zooming so bold, hurrah, hurrah!
With historical Snape, and time-travel Harry,
Crossing through fandoms to deliver teh Snarry,
It'll All. Be. Clear. When. We show up to win the Gold!

Good luck...

(Do you have any idea how hard it is to animate a snitch flying over an animated cauldron using only mspaint?)

I've missed you this year. Both teams look great, though. It'll be a tough competition. :D

Bah, my Dragon, you know how I feel about that competition stuff. < looks around shiftily >. I'm really looking forward to seeing what everyone's done with these new genres!

Do you know, when I first read that, I thought it said, "Do you have any idea how hard it is to animate a snitch flying over an animated cauldron using only man-spit?" Lols! I think my brain is ready for Snarry porn.

Why, oh why did my most excellent beta have to be on the other team this year? Well, I made do, but I missed you. :)

You know, most years I cross the team lines to beta read. Never really thought about not doing it. 'S'not like anyone would sabotage a beta read due to team loyalties. I missed you too. :)

No, really. Commas and periods have been switched. I promise.

No.

Though I have students who want to read Shakespeare in English, so what can I say...?

Heeee! I'm still laughing about that one! Sort of reminds me of Jay Leno's 'Man on the Street' interviews. 'What country was the Vietnam War fought in?" "Uh...Japan?"

...what's sad is that my dad teaches history in college and there are some students he gets who probably have the same replies as your student. *is still trying to figure out how someone doesn't know about Arabs and Muslims*~Sophia

Just butting in to screech (in horror, not delight.) I thought it was bad enough that I could not covince anybody that Shakespeare did not write in Old English.
