What, you ask, is special about it? Well, I don't actually like Kashi, but in this case I love the commercial because my son, ijeremy is in it. He's the executive type in the suit with the dark glasses. It's short, and I can't help but do a bit of mum-squee!

ijeremy did this for a project (he's studying at the Art University in SF). I don't know from nothing about filming and all that jazz, but he wrote and directed this one for a class.

I don't get to see my son, ijeremy very often; he lives on the other side of the country. I was supposed to see him in January, when he was to be in a San Fran production of King Lear, but the director went nuts and all of his cast quit in protest, so I didn't get to go. I'd just 'retired', and money was uncertain. My husband went, though.

I miss him; sometimes I don't even feel like I know him very well anymore--distance and time. So I always get a good feeling when he posts to his eljay. Tonight, I'm especially happy. He has a short-film gig, and he posted this...
