To those of you who've so patiently awaited the sequel to Lychee's Everybody Wants To Be a Cat, it's now been completed by the author, so I've picked up the translation again. I'm about halfway through it, and should have it reading for posting here in a few weeks.

Author's Notes: This story was commissioned by Sparky for jadzialove as a Christmas gift. The particulars of how they first met, as well as many other small details, have been incorporated into the story. The similarities of their story inspired me to use several plot devices from the Hanks/Ryan film, 'You've Got Mail', as well as a few poignant lines that I've shamelessly put into the mouths of Harry and Snape. This was for me a writing experience like none other, fueled by my affection for these two women who, against the odds, found each other. Happy Anniversary, you two!

A/N: It's been a long time since I've written Snarry—hopefully I've not forgotten how. As I'm not particularly fond of Book Seven, I'm writing an AU story. Ever since I was a teenager, I've been fascinated by "The Name of the Rose" universe and the Cadfael series. I wanted to incorporate these into a Snarry.
Disclaimer: The characters belong to J.K.R., even those she so cowardly assassinated…. *weeps*
Translator's Note: I've been a fan for a while of sioban_parker's fics: her Snarrys, most of all. I wasn't too far into this story, when I thought to myself, "Hmmm, translation," then with a nudge from ptyx, well, here I am.
This story is unique; it's a combination AU/AR, having its beginning and ending in Harry's fifth year, and the bulk of the story taking place in a cloister in the Middle Ages. If you're wondering if this 'works', consider the scene that finally sold me: Harry making his confession to Brother Snape. Talk about your medieval UST; I guess there really isn't anything new under the sun. It's well-written and plotty, incorporates appearances of most of the major canon characters we know and love (and hate).
I'll be posting this over the next month or so. The fic is, of course, completed in the French. If you read, please review. The author is fluent in English and will respond to reviews herself.
